Post #0220 - Sorting and labelling

Dear Earthlings,

Oh, it is so depressing when the Blue Company has decided that we have to execute the 5s thingy. Since our subsidiaries has carry out 5s long time ago,  so now it's our turn.
Sigh.

Anyways,
I don't think I can implement 5s in my house. Too many junks (?) All these are sentimental to me.

On a different page,
we are now in the midst of furnishing our new home.
Yet to move, but has started to clean one room per week. Simply because we are doing this ourselves. No maid or helper to help us out.
Like last Sunday, I cleaned the kids room and bathroom, while GadgetGeek assembling the beds.

Speaking for furnishing, I am on closet mode.
Currently Youngster #1 is using this closet -

And of course, sekarang sudah padat and tak muat.

Inspired by these pictures,

I planned to have a bigger closet since both will be sharing the same room and closet.
So the only closet that come into my mind is PAX, by IKEA.
Reason being, you can adjust the shelves, clothes bar/rail, mix and match sesedap rasa.
Wanted the kids to be independent. Amik baju and simpan sendiri.
Clothes rail tu boleh adjust kasi rendah so the kids can choose and pick their own attire.

Not only that, they also can keep their school bags, hats, accesories etc in separate shelves. At least, takde la bag semua bersepah atas lantai or bergantunggan.
Their bedsheets, blankets, towels semua boleh simpan in one place instead of keeping it in a different room.

In future, kot tak cukup tempat lagi, this closet can be extended. Very practical isn't it?

However, my idea sudah ditembak jatuh oleh GadgetGeek.
Out of budget and too much untuk budak umur 5 dan 3, katanya.

Post #0219 - Car Boot Sale

Dear Earthlings,

This was my first time joining my sistas in car boot sale (second time for them).
Since the place is quite far from ours (Bukit Mahkota, Section 2), it took us almost an hour from Damansara.
Those interested for car boot sale can click the link. They also conduct at other places. Feel free to check. One car lot is only RM7.

The night before the carboot sale, I was quite busy sorting out my things. This includes GadgetGeek stuff.

Me : You nak pakai lagi tak this shoes?
GadgetGeek : Yes
Me : But you memang tak pakai kasut ni. More than six years already. Esok I jual eh.
GadgetGeek : Please don't mess with my stuff. I'm a collector.

Anyways, (i think) he got mad at me because few years ago, I sold off his things for my garage sale which includes my presents to him.
Hahaha.. dendam lama berdarah kembali. Hahaha
Seriously. Tak pakai pon. Dah lama dalam almari. Plastic pon tak bukak lagi.

Anyhoo, I departed at 6.30, reached by 7:30am with my Sista #1.
Sista #3 arrived later with her Che Abe and her 5 months old pokcik.

It's like a picnic on Sunday morning

A couple of hours later, GadgetGeek arrived with Youngster #1 & 2. Reason being, he just wanted to check whether I took his stuff for sale or not. Muahaha.. Tak caya bini kann..

Sold our stuff dirt cheap.
Dresses (NEXT, GAP, etc) for girls age 10-12 at the price of RM8 -  RM10 (used not more than twice), my (new without tag) NINE WEST boots was sold at the price of RM20, Sista #3 NINE WEST boots (bought in Dubai, used once) sold at RM30.
Niece roller blade : RM5,
Nephew's shirts (QUIKSILVER, NEXT, GAP etc) : RM10 - RM5.
My long sleeves tshirts were sold at RM1 per piece.
Sista #4 ADIDAS sneakers : RM10 - RM5. SKETCHERS RM5.
Brand new bedsheet (duvet cover, bedsheet, pillowcase (2) and bolster sheet) - RM30

Some of Youngster #1 & #2 clothes : 50 cent - RM2.
Youngster #1 shoes (2 pairs) and 1 slippers we sold at the total price of RM13.
All in excellent and good condition.

Most of the buyers are nice, but there are some who are harassing us to mark down the price.  Yes, literally harassing. (the 'foreigners' laa especially) Paksa-paksa pulak.
For instance, Sista #1 told the buyer, the price per piece is RM20 (bought the dress more than RM150) Worn once. Anyways, if the buyer intend to take two piece, she will give the price of RM10 each.
The said buyer wanted it to be RM10 for two, meaning RM5 each.
Boleh???
Haih.. macam-macam.

I think total number of cars who participated more than 20. Sale starts at 7.30am until 11am.

Post #0218 - What would I do without you

Dear Earthlings,

During my highschool - uni, we (me and my siblings) would always ask our arwah nenek & mom to pray for us whenever we have to face our exam. My mom would normally perform a solat hajat on the exam day itself. Let say exam starts at 9 am, so she would pray sometime between 9 to 9:30 am. If exam tu untuk 5 hari, maka 5 hari lah akan buat solat hajat.
The candidate herself.. hmm.. subject to kerajinan.

There was a time where I had this one exam (I think it was Corp Financial Management. Yes, I hate this paper so much so I didn't complete the course) and my mom complained to me that she was soooo sleepy whilst praying the hajat. Further, she said that she had this bad feeling that I couldn't pass through the exam.
It happened to be true, I failed the paper.
Hehehe..

So yesterday, was no exception.
I had to face the internal exam conducted by the Blue Company.

Feel like I'm taking a PMR because as soon as I finished my exam, my mom called me up.
Her usual line was - "Boleh buat ke tak boleh?"
And I replied,
"Masa mami smayang hajat tadi tu ngantok tak?"

Hahaha.
Regardless how old we become, we will always depend on our mom isn't?
In my case she would be the laundrette sorter, my trustworthy babysitter, personal chef.. u name it. Anything under the sun.
It explains why even dah tua, still kena bebel dengan mak.

Hahahaha.
I love my mom.
Cliche.
I know.

Post #0276 - Is this purely lazy or what?

Dear Earthlings,

Seriously. The last time I wrote was in mid of Ramadhan. Syawal has already passed and now it's Zulkaedah. How long is that? bwhahahaha

Have many things in mind to share with but time (and the laptop) are the culprit. My 5 year old laptop has started to show her blue screen and I believe it shall kaput anytime soon. Planned to buy the replacement but still has no time to order.

Anyways, on the other side..
After almost ten years in debt with pt.ptn, I finally settled out the balance of my loan on the last date for 20% discount. Alhamdulillah. (also big thanks to my other half)
Took the loan during my first year degree for three years. Used that money to splurge. Ops, I mean to buy books, pay school fees, handphones? etc.
A little regret that I should have placed all the monies into fixed deposit account and/or ASB instead.

Nonetheless, I can't deny that I was contemplating whether to proceed with the installment (10% discount) or to make full payment.

FYI, since I did not sign the (new) agreement (Ujrah) therefore I am not entitle for the change from 3%  to 1% interest. The simple reason why I did not sign was because the agreement is lopsided. Further, you have to give consent so they can access your account (KWSP.LHDN.SOCSO) etc.
Of course la kan tak boleh. Benda confidential kannn..

So, on the afternoon of 30 September 2013, I went to their office in KL Sentral. Sorted the payment after a couple of hours at few counters (verifying counter for latest account update, get the number for the payment counter and wait for your name to be called for the release letter at the other counter).

Yang tak best tu pasal orang yang jaga kat counter most of them macam sombong. Senyum pon tak. Tak faham btol.

Last day of the offer. Crowded.
Latest amount to be paid
Number for payment

Whatever it is, I am relieved because it is off my back!
