Dear Earthlings,

I'm pretty sure by now you already know that Micheal Buble is coming to Kuala Lumpur. Maybe to some of you, it's not a big deal and think he's just another ordinary singer. But to me, seeing him performing live, definitely bring a deeper meaning.

Browsed through his official ticket website and surprised to see that the tickets are selling sky rocket high! Forget about RM250. There's nothing much you can see from that spot. I'm talking about the RM1089 ticket. Why oh Why.
Can the Organiser please justify the pricing?
Ironically, tickets in Sg are only S$289. Are you ef kidding me? It's a huge different you see. Even if you convert the currency, it is way cheaper than here. GadgetGeek is not so keen in buying me the tickets. He's in the opinion that it's not worth and a total rip off.
He thinks that no one can rock a concert in Malaysia. According to him, if I really want to go to a concert, go to States. That is where the REAL concert is.
(huh, which I don't think that we are going in near future)

Sigh. I really want to go.
However, I do agree with him.
The Organiser should have place the concert in Philharmonic KLCC or Istana Budaya, instead of Melawati Stadium in Shah Alam. Then the RM1089 ticket, would have more value on it.

Post #0007 - Now I know why girls are drooling over Edward Cullen.

Dear Earthlings,

Last time I cursed the Twillight movie. I just don't get the vibe over this modern pale dracula who has plum color lipstick on his lips and drives volvo. But a week ago, I decided to give it another shot seeing that Twillight is the movie of the month on Astro. Hence, Twillight night it is.

After giving my heart and eyes on the movie, it explains why the girls all over the world are drooling over Edward Cullen. I believe it's because of his character, not the look per se. A person who is very mysterious and loves the partner very much is always yummeh to me.

So, on the following night I watched its sequel, the New Moon. I have to admit that it's not as good as the first movie. Except for the last scene where there was a wedding proposal which I didn't expect that coming! I was speechless and soon went to bed in confused thought.

Tonite, I NEED to watch Eclipse. Otherwise, this feeling will be washed away. And I WANT to get my hands on the Twillight movies. It's collectable.

Post #0006 - Careful, precise, fussy, what-ever-you-call-it Driver

Dear Earthlings,

Well, I believe I'm in that category. I think the last time I had an accident about 14 years ago. Yes, my-fault kind of accident. License no where to be found because I was 17. Hehe.. I crashed onto someone's gate. Silly.
Since then, I really concern of my driving and take a good care of my car. Because I know, it's not cheap or easy to repair a car. And I got it first hand experience. The good news is, my parents do not know about this til todate. Hahaha. I'd to fork out of my pocket money.

But accident caused by others, I had it few times in 13 years.
After I got my driving license, the first real accident was in 1998, in Kampu.ng Pan.dan KL It was bumper to bumper accident. Fast forward, few more minor accidents.
Then, starting the year of 2000 I take the car and the driving very seriously. It's so serious that you can never see me smiling while I'm driving. Hehe!
I even NAG when someone not properly drive/park my car. (Still doing that). As a result being fussy,  my car never met an accident ever since.

Anyways,
Guess what. After ten years being a careful and precise driver,
I hit my mom's car last Friday.
She parked her car at the corner of the porch. AND I blamed it on blind spot and rain. Err.. maybe I was too tired and couldn't care less about the space to exit my car.
The funny thing was, after the incident, I immediately went back to my house. Didn't bother to check on her car. It sort of like, hit and run type of accident :P The bad news is, my mom saw I did it! Hurmph!
Once I reached home, I realised, my 2 left doors need repair.
I feel so not me. Even GadgetGeek was surprised when I delivered the news.
Hmm..

Post #0004 - Thought for Friday

Dear Earthlings,

Yeay. Finally it’s Friday. I don’t know what makes this Friday comes so slow.
We will be having our Family BAKTI Bowling Tournament this Sunday. Bet it’s gonna be fun!
Since Me and GadgetGeek are the Committee, we already registered ourselves. Same goes with BigSis, LilSis I, LilSis II and Che Abe.
LilSis II insists on having practise before the tournament as she determines to win. However, I forgot to ask my LilBro. Huh, what a thoughtful sister. No worries, I shall ask him later and if he wants to join, he can take my place :)   But I doubt that. He and his PSP can never be apart.

Now, to sort out my two Youngsters.

Dear Earthlings,

I always wanted to write but time constraint. I noticed I have yet to jot about the birth of Youngster#2.

Alhamdulilllah, everything went as planned. Just the time of birth has been delayed due to emergency case that came in the Operation Theatre (while I was already in anaesthetic).  Otherwise our Youngster#2 will be born around 1100 hrs instead of 1228 hrs.

We should be checking in at 0800 hrs on 31 August 2010, however we arrived an hour late due to last minute preparation.  Before this we stayed in Premier 7, but this time we settled for other Premier Room due to occupancy. Earlier, we checked on the VIP room, just in case if the room is better than Premier. Sadly, I believe Premier wards are way  better than the VIP room due to furniture cramping the room.

Since we delivered a baby on Merdeka Day, APSH presented us with a Merdeka Hamper. Unlike, other hospitals who participated in Merdeka Babies, they gave a year supply of diaper. How cool is that?

What I can say, after the c-section, I shivered like nobody business. Different from Youngster#1 post c-section, I felt hot (literally).

Well it’s not easy to handle a toddler and deal with a sick lady plus newborn at the same time. Credit has to go to GadgetGeek because managed to cope with it. I’m not sure whether the nurses in Level 4 are getting tired of me since I pressed the button more than 10 times a day. This includes calling them just to switch off the lights.

In 2008, Youngster# 1’s bill was around 11k. This time, it shot up to RM13k.  Maybe because I had a little bit complication during birth. Nonetheless, I am satisfied because –
  • The Anaesthetist did a good job in anaesthetising me.  Gave me one jab and I’m all set . (Unlike previous – Youngster# 1’s  Anaesthetist gave me multiple jabs). During the operation, there was a time where my heart beat dropped. The Anaesthetist quickly gave me gas and I felt highhhhhhh...
  • The Gynae, Dr. M who is also did a great job though there are some series of incident. What ever it is, I don't have kiloid anymore! My scar is just like a fine hair. Yeay!
  • HOWEVER, we are not pleased with the Paediatrician. Neither Paed Youngster#1 nor #2. APSH is not the place to find a good paed.

Anyways, nothing like Dr. F (who was in charge of me during Youngster#1) Dr. M allowed me to eat after 4 hours of surgery. Blessed because I don’t have to starve. We stayed for 4 days and checked out on Friday evening.  Unfortunately, the newborn  has to remain at the hospital due to jaundice. He was discharged a couple of days before Raya.

There’s a thing about “tukar nyawa” that people been saying. About 5 days after my baby was born, my grandmother has returned to her Creator, on the night of 27 Ramadhan 1431 – 2000 hrs. The last time I met her was during Lil Sis I’s wedding back in April 2010. Didn’t managed to pay her a visit because I was heavily pregnant, but GadgetGeek and my other family get to see her a week before that. While my dad, two weeks before because on the day she passed away, my dad was in Mecca performing his Umra’. She must been blessed because people said that was the night of Laylat al-Qadr. Al-Fatihah.
