Post #0181 - Denai Alam Recreation and Riding Centre (DARC)

Dear Earthlings,

Recently, we asked Youngster #1 -
"Do you want to ride a horse?"
Youngter #1 : Yes. I want pink horse.

We believe this was on her mind -

Not realising that she was going to ride a REAL one!

a bit nervous..

I think it cost us RM5 for 3 rounds?

Youngster #2

Done with the horse riding, we went for Archery together with BIL I and family.

So have you been to DARC
Located at Denai Alam, it's a recreational place suitable for family and friends. Got to know this place from BIL I. They do have family package, but we didn't enroll it. Suffice with pay upon visit.

Post #0169 - Bukit Tinggi Trip

Dear Earthlings,

Bro-in-Law I and his family stayed over at our place because we promised the Youngsters to go to the Rabbit Park, Bukit Tinggi. The weather was humid and there were so many people (it was on the First Day of Chinese New Year). (Btw sangat menyampah pada Bukit Tinggi Traffic Controller. Tak boleh nak ada power sikit)

Had our lunch at Colmar Tropicale. Food and service not so good; ironically the bill came with the total around RM150.
Youngster #1 begged us to buy her bubble gun but we sticked to our decision not getting her one (proud of it) because she misbehaved during lunch.  Spoil too much already.

Regardless, I know I'm in trouble when I was struggling to climb up the hill heading to the Japanese Garden from parking lot. (Actually, climbing to second floor also a problem to me) GadgetGeek said I need to do some cardio exercise and he thinks I'm full with cholestrol. Bla.bla.bla. And my reply was -

*yawn*

I don't understand why she was so happy. I was barely catch my breath!

We spent about 1.5 hours here and ended our trip at Rabbit Park. Paid the entrance fee - RM3 Adult/Child (Age 3-12) and the Youngsters were freely roaming the park.

Dear Earthlings,
Each time Youngster #1 throws her tantrum, it indicates that it's about time for us to have a family outing (outings to malls are not counted). FYI, this trip was about two weeks ago.

As usual, it was unplanned. GadgetGeek proposed to go to Genting, but then since we were underdressed (left sweaters at home) the trip was diverted to Sunway Lagoon instead.

Can't remember how much we paid for the entrance, but the Youngsters went in for free (they did the height measurement) and we had to take 3 parks altogether - Water Park, Amusement Park, Wildlife Park

We took turn on the rides, and for the Water Park GadgetGeek had to get new shorts in the nearby store.. due to err.. lack of preparation?

This picture was taken at the Wildlife Park. We unstrapped Youngster #1 from her stroller, and let she wonders around the park.

For picture taking, there was no charge. But if you satisfied with the picture and wanted to have a copy of it, RM 35 is the price for each picture.

The Water Park.
I remained seated at the bench with Youngster #2 while GadgetGeek and Youngster #1 went for splish splash at the kids pool. But before we left the Park, GadgetGeek took Youngster #2 for a quick dip at the pool :)

And it was one hot day!! **sweating like nobody's business**
